Traditional Art / Drawings / Surreal

"Inspiration will bring us higher than resources ever will"

Something I've been working on for the past few weeks. I think what I said above pretty much sums up what this drawing is about and what inspired me to make it. Also the fact that I love seagulls, and one of my favorite books, Jonathan Livingstone Seagull have been helpful as well. The storyline of the book made the perfect scene (and sense) for what I tried to depict with this drawing.

- graphite pencils (regular and mechanical) on Canson smooth paper
- some references for the details
- 42 x 30 cm (A3)
- about 25 hours

beautiful shading, and I love the way your crumpled the paper to give the effect you wanted!
Your work is absolutely breath taking.
And because you disabled the Prisoner of your Own comments, I just wanted to say, looking at that gave me goosebumps, and for some reason, a new look at life. It brought tears to my eyes :') So, sorry I had to take up this comment to comment on another one of your fantastic drawings, but something needed to be said
